The things people ask most. Still stuck? Drop by and ask — we're happy to help.
Book a beginner class on the Classes page and arrive a little early, so your instructor has time to show you how to set up the reformer. Let them know it's your first class, and tell them about any injuries or health concerns before you begin.
Reformer classes use the reformer: a sliding carriage with springs that you push and pull against, with straps and a footbar. Mat classes use your own body weight on a mat, sometimes with small props. Some classes pair the reformer or the mat with other pilates equipment, such as the chair or the tower. If you're not sure which to book, ask your instructor.
Wear comfortable, fitted clothes that let you move freely and let your instructor see how you're moving. Grip socks help keep your feet steady on the reformer and the mat. Check your studio's rules to see whether they are required for your class.
Let your studio know as soon as you can. Class opens with a warm-up that prepares your body for the rest of the session, so if you arrive well after the start your instructor may ask you to join a later class instead. Your studio's booking rules say how late you can still join.
Sign in, find a class on the Classes page and book your spot. To cancel, open the same class and cancel your booking there. Each studio sets how close to the start you can still cancel, so see your studio's booking rules before you do.
A class pack gives you a set number of classes to use within a set time. Each pack on the Pricing page shows how many classes it includes and how long it stays valid. If you're not sure which one suits you, ask at the front desk.
Yes. A private session is one-to-one time with an instructor, planned around what you want to work on, and you can also book a duo session with a friend. Once you're signed in you can book a private session online, or ask your studio about available times.
Please check with your doctor before you start or continue pilates during pregnancy, and tell your instructor before every class. They can suggest classes that suit you and adjust exercises as you go.
Age rules for younger clients are set by each studio, so please contact your studio before booking a class for anyone under 18. For a minor, a parent or guardian gives their consent when enrolling them.
Every studio's address and opening hours are on the Locations page. Parking is different at each location, so check with the studio you're visiting before your first class.
Send us a message from the Contact page, where you'll also find each studio's phone number.
